Generally, the place was gorgeous and had kind and good staff who are always ready at your service. The hotel was next to over a dozen restaurants on the top of the cliff and the beach and the cliff and shopping thanks to its awesome and pleasant location. It also was in the cafe lovely...

The room was elite and immaculately clean, and the beds were lovely. the pool was amazing, and I had cool drinks in the outdoor bar. the views of the sea were excellent.

Very clean hotel. The balcony was a wonderful addition to the room. Stay there and enjoy your Varkala vacation. Location was within 10 min walking distance to Papanasam Beach.

The swimming pool and garden at Akhil Beach Resort were absolutely stunning. It was a pleasure to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the location of the resort was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and the beach. I particularly appreciated having a balcony, as it allowed me to enjoy the outdoors even when it was raining. Despite a few minor issues, I would definitely consider staying here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good staff, lovely gardens, comfortable room, nice bathroom

A small fridge would have been nice. The screeching of the beds being moved on the marble floors when the cleaning staff were in. Felt pads would stop this and also make it easier for the staff to move the furniture.

This hotel is positioned just back from the main cliff in a quiet peaceful location just a 2 min walk to the beach and restaurants. It was very clean and well presented, the staff were very friendly and the room beautiful, very good value for money, The Pool was clean and fresh towels were always available. Definetly want to make a return visit

Nearby cafe, Cafe Del Mar, offering good food just 400 ft away 🍔. Enjoy a view of the pool right from our room window.

Location & price:close to Varkala but very reasonably priced

A very nice place,the people where very careful and helpful, the food was very good and the resort in itself is very cosy.

Poor internet service

We chose a place with a stunning view down the cliff and right by the beach. Despite its great location, the cafe was lovely and had a reasonable price. It was great to be on the North cliff and away from the overcrowded southern end. Our room was very comfortable and clean. the staff was always helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the facilities, especially the nice swimming pool and the spacious bathroom with hot water.

That the room rate was a bit high, but it was expected for a place with such a great location and service.

A great location only a few minutes walk from the beach but set back from the main thoroughfare. The cottage was spacious and the hotel grounds very well maintained. The pool is a great asset and a real bonus at the end of a day on the sandy and unsheltered beach...

Our room was not as clean as it could have been, there was a constant mustiness reinforced when we moved to our next location when we found all unpacked clothing was in fact damp. On the day we did ask for room cleaning the bed sheets and towel was changed but absolutely no cleaning done at all. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel as well as the pool facility was the ayurvedic centre and yoga classes, however the yoga teacher was absent and no attempt was made to replace him, we had to seek yoga classes outside the hotel.

Perfect place for peacefull holidays,also very clean and friendly stuff. Very close to the beach cliff street,with many delicious restaurants.

The hotel is pleasantly located in beautiful gardens, which provide a nice ambiance. The staff is very helpful and kind, and the rooms have basic amenities with modern bathrooms. The breakfast is included and has fresh fruit juice, which is a nice touch.

Akhil Beach Resort is located about 100m from Varkala Beach Cliff. Close enough to everything but far away enough from the bars so is very peaceful. It has a lovely large pool and the whole resort looks very nice and is well maintained and clean. The restaurant is not too expensive either.

The standard and deluxe rooms are very basic and in need of refurbishment and the cleanliness could have been better too.
